Contacts

One record per customer, across every channel and integration.

Contacts is the single customer hub. Every integration writes into it, so a person who ordered on your store, replied on WhatsApp and submitted a lead form is one record, not three.

Slide matches an incoming record on phone number first, then email address. If neither matches an existing contact, a new one is created. Matching on phone first is deliberate, because it is the more reliable identifier across messaging channels.

Every meaningful action is stored against the contact as an event: orders placed, checkouts started, messages sent and received, form submissions. Events drive both segments and automation triggers, and give you the history behind each conversation.

A segment is a saved set of conditions over contacts and their events, for example everyone who placed an order in the last 30 days but has not opened an email since. Segments update themselves as data changes, and can be used as a campaign audience.

  • Slide surfaces likely duplicates so you can merge them.
  • Blocking a contact stops all outbound messaging to them across every channel.
  • Opt outs are honoured automatically and cannot be overridden by a campaign.
