Google Sheets
Sync a spreadsheet into Contacts and trigger automations when rows change.
Connect a Google account to read spreadsheets into Slide. Use it to import a contact list, or to drive an automation from a sheet your team already maintains.
- 1Open Dashboard, then Integrations, and select Google.
- 2Select Connect. Google's consent screen opens.
- 3Choose the Google account that owns the spreadsheets.
- 4Approve read access to your spreadsheets.
- 5You are returned to Slide with the account connected.
- 1Select Add sheet and choose the spreadsheet and worksheet.
- 2Slide reads the header row and shows you the columns it found.
- 3Map each column to a contact field. Leave anything you do not need unmapped.
- 4Choose the column that uniquely identifies a row, normally an email address or phone number.
Always map a stable identifying column rather than relying on row position. If you rely on position, inserting a single row near the top makes every row below it look changed, and an automation attached to that sheet will fire for all of them.
Slide re reads the sheet on a schedule and detects added and changed rows using the identifying column you chose. If you change the header row, refresh the schema so the mapping stays correct.
